We first ventured into e-business because we thought we could get more exposure for a Sunshine Coast Accommodation Holiday Rental Unit that was suffering from lack of occupancy.  The web seemed like the place to go since it appeared to be a resource that was untapped.   We built the CaloundraAccommodation.com website that is the destination of thousands of people per month from all over the world. The Caloundra Sunshine Coast Accommodation site gets so many requests for holiday rental accommodation that we have decided to expand the scope of the site to cover the whole of the Sunshine Coast and expand the listings from one Holiday Rental Unit to all Accommodation Services.  This was the genesis of Sunshine Coast Accommodation and the website SunshineCoastAccommodation.biz or SCAccom.biz for short.

Since we started in mid-July 2002, we have been receiving tens of thousands of hits per month (see the graph below printed on 9 Sep 2002).

We wanted to allow our electronic customers the ability to source the full range of listings and services they were after via the user-friendly interface that we offer with SCAccom.biz.  Likewise, we wanted to allow local Sunshine Coast Accommodation Service Providers the ability to access those customers in much the same way we did with CaloundraAccommodation.com.

The service had to be accessible via the major search engines and had to promote repeat customer business.  We know we have the technical ability to optimise the site for the search engines and have the dedicated and experienced staff to make it succeed.
